Our fees
At Claremont Orthodontics we believe you should know what your treatment will cost before you begin. The fees below are the starting point for your personalised quote, which we confirm at your initial consultation.
Braces
Our braces fees include:
- All cephalometric and 2D radiography required for orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, and any further radiographs required as treatment progresses
- Cephalometric analysis of hard and soft tissue
- All photography required for your treatment
- We only use modern, contemporary, TGA-approved bracket systems, such as American Orthodontics, Ormco or 3M products
- Fitting of braces
- All adjustment appointments
- Removal of braces
- Any breakages
- Braces introduction pack, including orthodontic wax, fluoride mouthwash, interdental cleaning aids, diet instructions and oral hygiene instructions.
Additional charges
Ceramic (tooth-coloured) braces: additional $500 for one arch, or $850 for both arches.
We will always obtain your consent for any other optional fees that you may wish to incur.
The pay-in-full price is highlighted in pale green and appears in the first column.

Clear aligners
Our clear aligner fees include:
- All cephalometric and 2D radiography required for orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning, and any further radiographs required as treatment progresses
- Cephalometric analysis of hard and soft tissue
- All photography required for your treatment
- Virtual treatment outcomes and simulations of alternative treatment options
- All appointments during treatment
- Any breakages
- Chewies, an aligner removal device, and an aligner container with mirror.
- Appliance wear instructions.
- There are no dietary restrictions with clear aligners.

In rare cases involving temporary anchorage devices, skeletal anchorage, orthognathic surgery, or severely ectopic teeth, an additional charge may be quoted at the beginning of treatment. Claremont Orthodontics does not charge more for aligner cases than braces, as is conventional in orthodontic fees in Australia.
Other orthodontic appliances
Appliance fees include all laboratory fees, all appointments involved in fitting and adjusting the appliance, and one removable retainer at the end of treatment. We only use Australian based specialist orthodontic laboratories for the appliances listed below.

Payment options
Payment plans: pay our fee with a deposit followed by monthly instalments over the term shown for each treatment. No interest is charged.
Save when you pay in full: the pay-in-full price shown for each treatment is a discount on our fee. It applies when payment is made in full by the end of the day your braces are fitted, or when your aligners, expander or other appliances are ordered.
Karratha surcharges are added to the pay-in-full price, or to the initial deposit if you choose a payment plan.
Karratha
We're proud to visit Karratha more than any other orthodontic service and we offer a full range of treatment options unlike other practices.
At our Karratha clinic, the following apply in addition to the fees above:
- Braces and clear aligners: $500 for a single arch, or $750 for both arches
- Other orthodontic appliances (expanders, removable and functional appliances): $500
- Initial consultation: $200
Radiography for Pilbara patients can be done at no charge at the Karratha Health Campus or a Pilbara regional hospital radiology department, or at no cost at our Claremont clinic.
Health fund rebates depend on your level of cover; please check with your fund.
